The purpose of this illustration was to show a fantastic location of the gate leading to Tir Na Nog.
Tir Na nog is one of the names for the Celtic Otherworld, or perhaps for a part of it. It is depicted as an island paradise and supernatural realm of everlasting youth, beauty, health, abundance and joy.
